Joining the student council allows you to become a more active member of your local Margaret Douglas school community.

Getting involved with the student council or school government allows students to have a say in what activities and events are planned during the school year. Members of the council also help organize student fundraisers and perform community service. Council members are elected yearly by their classmates and become respected leaders in their communities.

Members of the student council are expected to:
